Richard Curtis seems to be having trouble sticking to the usual gag order surrounding Doctor Who storylines.
Having previously revealed that the episode he's penning for the show will feature Vincent Van Gough "stabbing a monster," Richard has now given away a few casting secrets.
Blackadder creator Richard is writing a script for Matt Smith's first series as the Doctor, to be shown in February next year.
He told the website Bullz-Eye: "We've got a brilliant guy playing Vincent van Gogh - which is who it's about - who you should look up on YouTube. He's a guy called Tony Curran, who really could not look more like him.
"He's a wonderful actor who was in this brilliant movie called Red Road that came out, a rather serious movie. But he's going to be great. I’ve had a lot of fun. We start to shoot in about a month." The actor also appeared - or rather, didn't - as The Invisible Man in the 2003 movie The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and makes a guest appearance in the new series of 24.
Richard added that he is a "serious new convert" to Doctor Who and has "watched pretty well every episode of the new manifestation".
