Courtney Thorne-Smith, a 43-year-old actress, will return to Two and a Half Men DVDs series in a recurring capacity. Courtney Thorne-Smith who also performed in Ally Mcbeal and Melrose Place will return to Two and a Half Men as Lyndsey McElroy, the ex-flame of Alan. Thorne-Smith first appeared at the end of Season 7, before Lyndsey and Alan's relationship took a turn for the worse — he even accidentally burned down her house!

It is one day after Judy Greer signed on as the soon-to-be ex-wife of Ashton Kutcher's Walden Schmidt, a broken-hearted billionaire who buys Charlie Harper's house after he meets his demise that Courtney Thorne-Smith returns.
