"Heroes" star Hayden Panettiere's house was burglarized over the weekend, police sources told TMZ.com.

The officials told the celebrity gossip site that Panettiere returned from a vacation April 15 to discover about $15,000 in jewelry missing from her Los Angeles home.

The sources told TMZ that there were no signs of forced entry and that several people were in and out the house in Panettiere's absence.

Panettiere, 19, stars as Claire Bennet on the NBC drama "Heroes." Her other credits include the shows "Malcolm in the Middle," "Ally McBeal" and the daytime drama "The Guiding Light."
